My Daily Reflection Entry #3

  In class today, we wrote about is a person language more influenced by their peers or family.  People are more influenced by their peers because people are around our peers more then our family.  Some people don't get a chance to speak to their parents due to a lack of communication.  When they don't communicate with their parents they wouldnt know how to speak or even have a descent conversation.

My Daily Reflection Entry #2: Comma Usage

Today in class, I learned how to properly use commas.  I've learned have how to use them, but never really knew how to use them in certain sentences or why they needed to be used.  Using the correct punctuation in a essay is very imporant when taking the AP Exam.  Because you don't want to have a essay with run-on sentences, improper grammer, and incomplete sentences.  It is also important to use commas when they need to be used.

My Daily Reflection Entry #1

        Today in my reflective entry I will be reflecting on "The Myth of the Latin Women: I Just Met a Girl Named María."  The author talked about how the women was sterotyped on her being a Latina.  She was judged on the way she showed her cultural differences and the way she dressed as a Latina.  This signifies that matter what your cultural difference is society is going to judge you.
